Ink is quite a fascinating medium, have always been intrigued how it drips, splashes, runs and spreads. It can be used in exquisitely super fine detail or extravagantly spread out over huge areas. It’s texture can be either rich and very concentrated or so light and delicate that you can barely see if it’s really there. The way it draws itself up into any fibre that it touches. It can be fun to observe drawing itself up your new fancy brush or your old school dipping nib or as it accidentally splashes on a favourite white shirt searching out each individual fibre or how it loves to draw up your long hair, especially if it happens to be golden!  Vaguely remember seeing a long blonde hair plat being dipped into a desk inkwell of blue writing ink as a kid!
